Hey, guys! Another exciting week of development from the prospectors team as we saw some significant features added. Let’s take a closer look at a few of the important updates we implemented last week. We have launched the Prospectors certification program, added full functionality of the land market, and word of a new resource has the community “buzzing”.

Certificate of a True Prospector

After a few accidents on production, which were mostly related to newbie unskilled workers who were harmed during the production processes, the State made the decision to carry out precautionary measures to avoid such situations in the future. As a result, we’ve added the Prospectors’ certification program, which started to operate on August 13.

According to it, each citizen of Prospectors land should receive a “Certificate of a True Prospector” to be able to work 300 min in a row without resting. The certificate is valid for the entire life for all three workers. The Certification price is equal to the sum of 10 days of plot rent.

Any workers who are not certified, will now only be able to work for 60 minutes and should take a rest after that.

Thanks to the implementation of the Prospectors certification program, all accounts will be able to get CPU for free after EOS main net upgrade to version 1.8.

Land Market

This week we finally launched the full functionality of the Land Market. As you probably know, the Land Registry is a state department where you can manage your real estate. So a bit more about Land Registry functionality, and the changes which were implemented this past week.

Since the plot confiscation started to operate, the blocked period for the plots with expired rent was cut to 7 days, as was previously announced. After this amount of time, the plot will be confiscated and sold through the auction. If no one buys the plot it becomes abandoned, at which time any player can go to it and make it free again.

Transferring your plot

By now, we have all seen the Land registry where you can sell your plot through the auction. The auction lasts 24 hrs and the plot goes to the player who made the last bid.

We’ve now added the ability to sell/pass rent rights to a specific account. in order to transfer your plot, you simply send a proposal to the selected account. You set your desired price if you want to sell the plot. You can also enter price “zero” if you want to pass this plot to the chosen person for free. To finalize the transaction, the account has to accept your proposal.

You will be able to look over the proposals that someone has sent you in the Land Registry window. You can accept or delete them.

Coffee Beans

We’ve received reports this week from all across the Prospectors land about mysterious coffee plants that appear to be growing everywhere. The climate seems to be favorable as these plants are thriving and full of berries ripe for the picking! Everyone feels the potential of a new resource, and prospectors far and wide have already started collecting and bringing the beans to market. It’s obvious that everyone loves coffee, but nobody knows how to use it yet. So we’ve sent a telegram asking for coffee experts to make the journey out to our land, and explain to us the best methods for processing this wonderful newfound resource. We’re eagerly awaiting their arrival and will send word to all the prospectors as soon as news becomes available

New Language Added

We are so grateful to all the volunteers who helped to translate the game into different languages. We were excited to announce that Spanish has now become available in the game , and we’re not stopping there as more languages will be added soon.

We’re working with translators from other countries and are looking for more enthusiasts to volunteer. If you are capable of translating in-game texts into your language, and want to help Prospectors to speak it, please contact us!

Cheaters and scammers

Hundreds of users join us every day and in an effort to keep the game fun and fair for all, we are strictly against the use of multi accounts. That’s why the fight with multi-accounts is one of our top priorities and essential to keep the game operational and spectacular.

Here we want to highlight that alliances are encouraged in the game, and we will never forbid them. Just follow the main rule: one player — one EOS account.

Players who are suspected of violating this rule will find their workers sentenced to jail. If You are sure that you are innocent please contact us, and If you are able to prove it, your workers will be freed. Be aware that if you play with your friends from one place it may also cause problems. Our system won’t be able to recognize you as different people, and you can be defined as a multi-account owner.

Also, because the game becomes more and more popular every day, it attracts different kinds of scammers. Stay vigilant and remember, we would never ever ask you to send us any of your passwords or keys. Last week we have had few cases, where scammers were posing as prospectors support and were trying to get users’ Scatter keys. Never reveal your private key to anyone. We won’t be able to guard you against everything. So please, just be careful!
