After a series of discussions in the Discord community, initial rates for
$MEGA ↔ Resources swaps in the Vault were decided to be as follows:
Only Materials could be swapped to $MEGA (Energy and Water were excluded from the list). The total amount of $MEGA Token available in the Vault is fixed, no new $MEGA will be created for these networks, ever.
Use-Cases
$MEGA is an index for in-game economy backed by resources production chain and valuated by “pools” analogy created in the Vault.
- Use the $MEGA to play the game
- Yield $MEGA playing the game (Refer to Yield $MEGA)
- Release Resources from the Vault using $MEGA
- Exchange one Resource to another
2. Transfer Value
- Swap Materials to $MEGA on Ethereum
- Exchange $MEGA on Ethereum to $MEGA on TRON
- Swap $MEGA to any Material on TRON
3. Store Value
- HODL the Token to protect from Materials prices fluctuation
4. Liquidity Mining
- Add $MEGA to liquidity pools to earn fees
5. Trade $MEGA
- $MEGA is an ERC-20/TRC-20 Token and can be freely transferred or traded on any DEX
Governance functions will be limited for the $MEGA Token.
Yield $MEGA
There are several ways to make $MEGA playing the game:
1. Lock Materials in the Vault for $MEGA
- Rent a building and appoint Citizens to produce Materials
- Produce Materials in your buildings with your Citizens
2. Purchase Materials on the market from other players
3. Manage a Corporation to claim $MEGA from the Fund *
4. Govern a District to take taxes from Corporations in $MEGA *
5. Get Materials in MCP3D Packs from the Store
(unique Generation A Citizens included, limited amount)

The Vault
$MEGA ↔ Materials swap rates are subject to change with every swap operation. The more Material of a certain type is deposited the less $MEGA with be received for the same amount of Material.
That said, the first players to swap Materials will get better rates. Swap rates may change rapidly, a transaction may fail due to someone else already done his swap while it was pending. $MEGA Token is distributed from the Vault on first came fist serve basis. Transactions speed may be manipulated with gas fess on Ethereum network and there’s nothing we can do about that.
