Thetan Arena is hosting one of the first-ever blockchain-based esports tournaments. The tournament is titled “Rise of Helios” that’s set to be commenced in two geographical regions; South America and South East Asia.
About the Tournament (Rise of Helios)
Each team will consist of 4 players. The tournament will follow a Single Elimination format meaning that the winning team will advance to the next round while the losing team will be eliminated from the tournament.
The tournament will commence in two geographical regions.
- South America: 23-34 April
- Southeast Asia: 30 April – 1 May
Each regional tournament has a Prize Pool of $10,000. The winning team will receive the prize money in BUSD.
The prize money will be divided into the top 16 teams.
- 1st Position: $4000
- 2nd Position: $2000
- 3-4th Positon: $800
- 5-8th Positon: $400
- 9-16th Position: $100
Thetan Arena
Thetan Arena, powered by blockchain technology, is a competitive e-sports game where players can form a team with their friends, and fight with other teams to earn in-game currency.
The game is available on Android, PC, and iOS. Thetan Arena has a lot of game modes, the most popular game modes being MOBA and Battle Royale.
These game modes are heavily supported by the developers.
Thetan Coin
Thetan Coin is the in-game currency that you can use to buy in-game assets. As Thetan Arena is a play-to-earn game, you can earn Thetan Coin as you play and progress in the game.
