The beta version of the blockchain game EGGRYTPO, which can be easily played for free, was recently released on November 18, 2019. That two-week trial ended successfully, and more than 650 users played and received a lot of feedback. In response to this feedback, the EGGRYPTO team made several updates for this release. In this article, I would like to explain the update from the beta version to this release.
There are three major updates from the beta version for this release.

Add new functions / Improve UI & UX
Hatching improvements
EGGRYPTO aims to be a blockchain game that can be enjoyed not only by those who spend a lot of time but also by those who cannot spend much time. However, there were many people who felt that at the beta version trial meeting, it was a “game that can only be enjoyed without sticking to the game to hatch the egg”.
Therefore, in order to convey in an easy-to-understand manner that “even those who can spend less time can enjoy it”, the types of eggs are divided as follows.
- Experience value egg: An egg that gives the player experience value. Appears in a few minutes (about 3 minutes at initial release).
- Normal egg: An egg that appears according to the number of eggs hatched. Monsters other than Raremon will hatch.
- Raremon Egg: A golden egg that appears once every few hours. Raremon may hatch.
In this way, hatching has made it easier to understand that even those who can spend a lot of time in the game and those who don’t have much time have the chance to get Raremon equally.
In addition, we don’t have much time, but when we get a chance to get a Raremon, we now show the timing of the Raremon egg so that anyone who wants to participate knows when to open the app.
In addition, there are only a few chances to acquire Raremons a day, but if you open the game frequently, you can get many monsters other than NFT, and monster collection and monster enhancement will progress. In the quests, the higher the difficulty level, the greater the chance of obtaining various types of Raremons, so the chance to obtain Raremons increases by acquiring strong monsters and aggressively strengthening them.
Tutorial
Added a tutorial to make gameplay easier to understand. The tutorial is displayed at the first startup and can be viewed at any time from the menu button.
Batch download of data
In order to improve the weight of battle action, a function to download data in batch after the game started has been added. You can see the tutorial during the bulk download.
Manual progress and Skip Off function in quest battles
The following corrections have been made to help you understand what is happening in the Quest Battle.
- Switch between tap mode and auto mode
- Added a function to turn off Skip
Improved quest battle logs
In order to make it easier to understand what is happening in the Quest Battle, the log display has been improved to be simple and easy to see.
If you use the tap advance mode during the battle, you can proceed with the battle while comparing the movement of the monster and its effect.
Fix bugs reported in the beta version
The screen stops on a specific Android device, or the operation becomes heavy
Since we received reports that the screen stopped on certain terminals and the operation became heavy, the following terminals were defined as the minimum guaranteed specifications, and file data reduction, download timing, etc. were corrected.

An error dialog is displayed and it is returned to the title
All reproducible errors have been corrected.
The problem that the monster is not displayed and becomes a white square
We once reported a fix, but it has occurred again at another time. It seems to occur especially immediately after installing the app.
If you close and reopen the app, monsters will be displayed normally after that, so please take such measures until you completely fix the bug.
Adjust game balance
Adjusted the balance of the whole game. The game of EGGRYPTO is very simple and designed to be enjoyable easily, but with the beta version, the appearance frequency of eggs for improving the EGGRYPTO’s enjoyment by referring to the opinions received from users, stamina, monsters, quests, etc. have been adjusted appropriately.
Egg appearance frequency
Adjusted the egg appearance frequency for each type of egg. Eggs with normal monsters have been changed to appear according to the number of eggs divided. In addition, adjustments were made so that eggs with Raremon appear only appear several times a day.
Stamina recovery speed
Stamina recovery speed has been adjusted to about 1/3.
Monster skills
Adjusted status and skills of some monsters such as Kaguya.
Quest
We have adjusted the difficulty of each quest to collect more monsters and make it easier to strengthen and organize parties.
Monster level limit
An upper limit has been set for each monster level. The upper limit of each rarity level is as follows. In order to clear a difficult quest, it will be an adjustment that strengthens the element that you must get and raise a monster with the highest possible rarity.
