More than 200 ‘pioneers’ have landed on the Decentraland platform for its test of the world explorer. Meaning that players got the unique opportunity to check out the world and digital avatars.
This is by no means the maximum number coming to test out the platform. The team has stated that more than 50 users will be added to the test on a weekly basis. Decentraland’s objective is to test out the scalability of the platform by hosting more than 2,000 players on a weekly basis
According to the Decentraland team, there will be coming to the beta in the coming months. Users will be receiving:
- Get proper onboarding
- Experience better content
- Express themselves with Avatar animations
- Travel to popular and trending places thanks to an advanced World Map; and
- Enjoy a set of social features
